Following are ways to get the most out of the GeoFields web site’s accessibility & usability features.
Access keys
Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, press ALT + an access key (then ENTER in some browsers); on Macintosh, press CTRL + an access key. All pages on this site define the following access keys:

Acronyms & Abbreviations
If you are using a newer standards compliant browser, acronyms and abbreviations will be denoted with a dashed underline. To expand the full term, just place your pointer over the word. i.e. GIS
Navigation
To ease navigation, we offer a few different ways to find the content you are looking for.
Breadcrumbs
At the top left of every page there is a breadcrumb trail to help you find your way around the site. You can tell what category you are in by looking there.

Form Labels
By labeling form elements, screen reading software will intelligently announce what a particular input element is, by reading the label. Also, users can click on the text labels which will activate the associated form element. This gives users with limited vision a much wider margin of error.
Images & Links
The images and links in this site have title & alt attributes, which describe the link or graphic in greater detail. These attributes help to explain the significance of image and links to non-visual readers and people who use text based browsers.
Printing
The site uses a printer style sheet which will only print the important content on each page without all the navigation. This maximizes the use of your printer while saving paper at the same time.
