GeoFields is looking for a Project Manager, responsible for delivering a variety of solutions to our clients within established parameters. Based on GeoFields' nimble and efficient culture, numerous opportunities will exist for the PM to participate in corporate presentations, account management, strategy setting and other activities to gain experience and professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Implement the GeoFields' project management guidelines and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand and manage client expectations and business needs.
- Accurately document and manage scope.
- Plan, execute, track and measure all project activities required to successfully deliver to the client. Report on project schedule utilizing EVA.
- Utilize estimating techniques to accurately create project plans.
- Manage and report upon project budgets, scope, and schedule
- Provide contract management to support the project including: understanding contract language and provisions; create statements of work; and proficiently handle change orders.
- Identify, manage and resolve project issues and risks as necessary.
- At the appropriate time, gain client acceptance of project deliverables and/or resolve outstanding issues.
- Manage the calculation and submission of invoices to the client based on milestone or T&M contracts.
- Identify, manage and communicate resource dependencies. Also monitor utilization of the team resources during project activity.
- Manage project resources providing performance feedback and input into evaluations.
- Assist Account Managers in responding to RFPs for new opportunities. This assistance includes scoping, costing, issue identification, presentation, proposal writing, etc.
- Provide training and or coaching to team members.
- Travel as required to meet business needs
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum bachelors degree in GIS, IT, engineering or related field.
- 5 to 10 years experience as a PM in responsible charge of delivery.
- Experience in pipeline (gas and liquids) or utilities a plus.
- Competent with MS Project and other MS suite of tools.
- Experience using a documented project management methodology based upon sound PM principles (e.g. PMBOK). Certification preferred.
- Proven history of successful project execution
- Ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Thorough understanding of the ESRI product family
- Strong communication skills
- Highly self-motivated - driven to “get the job done”
- Proven history of “do it once, do it right“
- The ideal candidate will have experience within the oil and gas industry, a thorough understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and PMP certification.

GeoFields is looking for a Support Analyst, responsible for day-to-day client support. Support tasks may include but are not limited to client phone, online and email support, issue investigation and resolution, and bug tracking. The successful candidate must have at least two years of telephone support experience in addition to two years of proven GIS experience. Experience with ArcGIS 10, SQL, and MS Access are required; experience in the pipeline industry and with linear referencing are strongly desired; experience with Oracle is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on all GeoFields software
- Work with product management, QA and development staff to troubleshoot software issues
- Recreate software workflows for QA and development staff
- Maintain detailed log of client issues in the online GeoFields Support System
- Communicate client needs, and enhancement requests to appropriate GeoFields teams
- Ability to quickly switch gears and work on many problems simultaneously
- Assist implementation with the delivery and installation of software builds
- Communicate bug fixes, software updates, and work-arounds to GeoFields software users
Desired Skills & Experience:
- University degree in Geography or related field and 2 years' experience.
- Ability to perform GIS application support
- Thorough understanding of the ESRI product family (10.x), including ArcGIS (plus extensions), ArcSDE, ArcServer, and related products
- Ability to navigate Relational and Spatial databases in a GIS
- Strong SQL skills - a plus for this position

This position requires an individual with strong communication and collaboration skills as well as excellent coding habits. Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Esri ArcGIS, and Microsoft .NET Framework technologies are a plus. GeoFields, a recognized leader in managed data solutions for the oil and gas pipeline industry, is looking for an outstanding front-end Web Developer responsible for innovative design and coding of web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Code new user-facing features and integrate data from various back-end services
- Design new user-facing features based on functional requirements and specifications
- Write unit tests to validate functionality
- Resolve product defects reported by product support and quality assurance teams
- Follow the established software development methodology
- Review the work of peers to ensure consistency and quality
- Provide status updates of work progress
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
Desired Skills & Experience:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 4+ years of experience in front-end web application development
- Solid front-end web development experience utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience in enterprise web applications programming
- Experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as jQuery, Dojo Toolkit, and Ember
- Good understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills and a solid working knowledge of object-oriented concepts and software patterns
- Ability to collaborate with other team members in the execution of large-scale projects
- Knowledge in GIS and/or experience in building applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API is a plus
